Seafood platters served in a good address in Marseille.

On the Place Castellane, the Massena Café delights you with its seafood platters. The restaurant is composed of two spaces, a large room on the first floor and a mezzanine offering a more intimate setting and ideal for bad weather days. The terrace has a covered and heated area and an outdoor area. The dish of the day that day: Thai-style veal sauté, grilled andouillette, fried mussels or butcher's cut. As for seafood lovers, they will be in heaven... The service is efficient. A good address.

We have had a bad experience with the service. To begin with, the waitress tried to sell us the most expensive wine on the menu, ignoring our desire to have another wine. When ordering the food, we weren't very hungry so we only wanted to order a single dish. The waitress told us that it was mandatory to order two dishes since there were two diners. We do not understand this obligation, taking into account that the premises were without customers. We decided to just grab the wine and leave. After a few minutes, the waitress returned with some plates and the parmesan to sell us what we had ordered, we told her that it was not necessary, it did not seem to us that she now forced us to eat something that had been denied to us from the beginning. Tonight's reflection for us was trying to sell something that your client does not want, knowing that the prices on the menu for a plate of pasta were around 30 euros... a little expensive for a pasta with some sauce. We will not return.

Excellent repas comme d'habitude. A midi un délice d'ossau bucco avec polenta, profiteroles généreux et exquis, café et cela pour 15€ avec un personnel souriant et efficace, une salle agréable et lumineuse. On adore cette halte avant le cinéma !

Empfehlenswertes Restaurant um verschiedene Meeresfrüchte oder auch Steaks und andere Köstlichkeiten zu probieren.
Die Preise sind fair und der Service ist einwandfrei.
Es empfiehlt sich vor allem Mittags rechtzeitig einen Tisch zu belegen, da es zu dieser Zeit schnell voll wird und sonst mit Wartezeiten zu rechnen ist.
Sitzgelegenheiten gibt es im Lokal, sowie im Außenbereich. Auf Grund der Lage an der Hauptstraße, sowie wegen der derzeitigen Baustelle, ist es im Außenbereich etwas lauter als gewohnt. Einen Besuch kann ich auf jeden Fall empfehlen, da die Anzahl der noch verfügbaren Fischrestaurant seit Covid sehr überschaubar ist.
