THÉÂTRE DU CARRÉ ROND
A small, intimate neighborhood theater in Marseille's Cours Julien district, programming classics and concerts.
Situated between the Plaine and Cours Julien, this local playwright's theater, created in 2008, seats around 50 and is run by actors and directors Michel Adjriou and Dominique Lamour respectively, founders of the Compagnie du Carré Rond. A troupe of around twenty people, loyal to their authors, they take on the finest texts of the classic French repertoire, and know how to give a certain modernity to moralist plays. The company also organizes theater workshops for adults and children, as well as French chanson and music-hall concerts... Ask for the program!
