Violence against women is a societal scourge that this association, based on rue Paradis in Marseille, is fighting against.
More than ever, we must remain aware of violence against women, a real scourge in our society, claiming hundreds of victims every year. Marseilles is obviously not spared by this phenomenon, despite a real collective awareness. One of the structures in place to help women victims of violence is this association, whose office is located near Castellane. Listening, emergency accommodation, prevention and training are all provided here by the brilliant team at Solidarité Femmes 13. Anonymity and discretion assured, it will be some time before things change, but the work of these volunteers is to be commended.
