A must-visit restaurant with a superb terrace serving excellent pizzas and varied menus in the Vallon des Auffes.

Nestled in the Vallon des Auffes, this restaurant is an integral part of Marseille's gastronomic landscape, just like its neighbor Fonfon. Famous for its wood-fired pizzas, Chez Jeannot also offers a nice menu, now headed by the starred chef Ludovic Turac. The meat and charcuterie served here comes from the nearby Pépé Guido butcher shop on the Corniche. Beef stew and large shrimps marinated in ginger rub shoulders with the famous and surprising bouillabaisse pizza, topped with Saint-Pierre and red mullet.

Véritable institution marseillaise, le restaurant Chez Jeannot accueille locaux et touristes dans une ambiance décontractée. Les plats sont bons et les prix corrects. La cerise sur le gâteau: la vue sur le Vallon des Aufes (petit port pittoresque de la Corniche), depuis la salle principale ou la terrasse extérieure à l'étage.
