VILLA VALMER
Villa Valmer, built in 1865, is well known to the young Marseille married who parade here every weekend to take photos of this unforgettable day in an enchanting setting. Under his small Renaissance castle, this building is the work of the architect condemned by the architect, Charles Gounelle. The seat of the National Merchant Navy School was then established until 1967 before ceding its place to that of the Marseille Town Planning Agency until 2002. Until recently, it has been occupied by the office of the office of the Office for Economic Cooperation for the Mediterranean and the East (OCEMO) and the Marseille Center for Integration in the Mediterranean but is at the center of many discussions since 2016. Speculation is good and a luxury hotel is evoked. We therefore strongly advise you to enjoy the park and this beautiful villa as long as it remains a public space. From the villa you will appreciate the beautiful view on the sea.
