PHARO PALACE
An imposing building with a beautiful garden in Marseille, the palace can not be visited but the garden is perfect for a walk.
Dominating the entrance to the Old Port, this imposing building was built at the request of Napoleon III to accommodate Empress Eugenie, who would never come to visit. The palace was then bequeathed to the municipality, which used it for receptions and major events. A place of stroll for the people of Marseille with the gardens surrounding the palace, the Pharo Palace is still actively solicited today but cannot be visited. A 900-seat auditorium is located there. Take time to stroll through the garden and enjoy what is probably the most beautiful general view of the Old Port. It is the most accessible park from the hyper-centre.

With not flunking to be placed a little at the end of the day and to superb photos of Marseille.
Les moyens de transport permettent d'être déposé en face de l'entrée du parc du palais, en quelques minutes à partir du Vieux Port.
