A place of walk appreciated by all, linking the Catalans district to the Prado beaches through the Endoume district

The Corniche is a boulevard of almost 4 kilometres overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. It is a popular walking area for everyone, cyclists and joggers also have their habits. It connects the Catalan district to the Prado beaches, passing through the Endoume district and sites as famous as the Vallon des Auffes or the Villa Valmer. Several bathing spots also make it a popular spot in the middle of summer: note the beach of the Prophet, the small port of Malmousque in Endoume or the beach of the Catalans at its end towards the city centre. Travelling along the entire coastline will allow you to enjoy an incredible panorama of the open sea, intensely blue on sunny days, with the islands of Frioul or the Calanques massif in the spotlight, depending on your position. To be done and done again to really take the measure of this city. The setting is magical. The least mobile people will be able to travel the entire cornice with the 83 bus. Another notorious curiosity, the cornice has the longest bench in the world with a length of 3 kilometers. A brand new cycle path runs along the Corniche and offers you a majestic ride.

Having seen Dominique Cabrera's film Corniche Kennedy, adaptation of Maylis's novel from Kerangal, gave me the desire to walk over this long avenue overlooking the Phocéean city with a view on the Mediterranean Sea, the Frioul Islands and IF Castle that inspired Alexandre DUMAS for his novel Le Count de Monte Cristo. It is by wandering on the corniche that one can see tense on the piglet of a house, a gigantic poster representing a jersey of the OM felled from the slogan "Never the first". It was this same jersey in reference to the victory of May 26, 1993 that a Parisian supporter tried to set fire a few days ago, before getting caught by the police.

Jolie corniche à faire en voiture ou encore mieux à pied (mais bruyant)
