Brasserie with a large terrace offering bistro cuisine overlooking the sea and the port of Pointe Rouge.

The Rafael brasserie overlooks the lawns of La Vieille Chapelle from its beautiful terrace, offering a pleasant view of the sea, the Frioul islands and the port of the Pointe Rouge. It serves a bistro cuisine with a very complete menu. On that Friday, we enjoyed a home-made aioli, served with a nice piece of fresh fish, cockles, a soft-boiled egg and well-cooked vegetables. For dessert, a nice discovery was the orange blossom crème brûlée, a flavor so typical of Marseille. Otherwise, on the slate, sole meunière, beef tartar, red tuna tataki or even the house burger. Pleasant and dynamic service. Nice spot for a drink with a view too.

Service sympa et efficace malgré une grande affluence. Nos plats étaient un peu trop riches à mon goût mais il en faut pour tout le monde! On est reparti avec le souvenir d'une serveuse qui a été au top.

Je suis arrivée avec une amie, on était tellement enthousiaste mais on a été bien déçu. Déjà 15 min pour avoir le menu, 15min pour de l'eau fraîche et une demi heure pour servir une glace alors qu'on en a demandée 2???????? pas très joyeuse en rentrant, pourtant une très belle vue sur la mer....

Il est recommandé d'emmener son parapluie en cas de tempête ????????????
