The aim of this challenge is to reach the Château d'If and the Prado beaches. 5 km of swimming inspired by the escape of Edmond Dantes.
Created in 1999, this sporting challenge was inspired by the legendary escape of Edmond Dantès in The Count of Monte Cristo. Today, it's the biggest ocean swimming event open to the public. Held every year in June, the challenge sees some 2,000 participants set off from Ile d'If to the Prado beaches on the coast, covering a total distance of 5 km. Junior 1 km challenges are also organized every year. A night race was also added to the program three years ago. Calling all enthusiasts!
