HÔPITAL SAINT-JOSEPH
Renowned Marseille hospital offering over 30 medical and surgical specialties, from maternity to end-of-life care.
Founded in 1919 by Abbé Jean-Baptiste Fouque, this private, not-for-profit hospital and member of the FEHAP has stayed the course, despite the restructuring of the healthcare system, thanks to the scientific expertise of its medical teams, its accessibility and the availability of its caregivers. More than 30 medical and surgical specialties are practiced in this human-scale structure, from the beginning to the end of life, with a gynecology-obstetrics service (maternity level II B - Sainte-Monique parents-children center), a mobile pain and palliative care unit, and a day hospitalization service. The hospital boasts an extensive technological platform that is constantly evolving: operating theatres, emergency department, medical imaging, laboratories, etc. There is also a Saint-Joseph Foundation, which supports and develops medical and social research by financing projects and research.
