If your footsteps lead you on this section of the Avenue du Prado, just a stone's throw from the intersection with Boulevard Périer, a small cubic building not very high up will catch your eye. It is the architects' palace, also known as the "Maison de la Société des Architectes", the work of Frédéric Lombard, and dates back to 1901. Since 1904, it has been home to the department's society of architects, one if not the oldest in France. You will be able to read a series of names on both sides of its façade.
