GOUD WEARING
The pretty fishermen's village of Les Goudes offers a unique panorama on the harbor of Marseille, the Maïre island and the archipelago of Riou
It is hard to believe that we are still in a district of Marseille. And yet, the pretty fishermen's village of Les Goudes is really part of the 8th arrondissement and offers a unique panorama on the harbor of Marseille, the Maïre island and the Riou archipelago. There are good restaurants offering fish and beach huts. You will discover on the hill some remains of blockhouses dating from the Second World War. The area is very rocky, which inspired the local expression "va te jeter aux Goudes! "which is not very friendly considering the uneven ground of this coast. Lovers of literature and Jean-Claude Izzo will also walk in the footsteps of Fabio Montale.
Fishing. Fishing trips are possible from the port of Les Goudes.
Kayak and paddle. Guided tours are available from Cap Croisette to Marseilleveyre.
Via cordata. A via cordata linking Les Goudes to Callelongue with acrobatic passages through the Baie des Singes and a tyrolean traverse are available.
Bicycle. The road stops at Callelongue, so you can go to Les Goudes by bike without any problem, electric or not.
