ST. MICHAEL'S CAVE
Cave located in the Saint-Michel rock, one of the numerous cavities of the Marseilleveyre massif.
Located in the Rocher Saint-Michel, overlooking the village of the Goudes, the cave Saint Michel is one of the many cavities of the massif of Marseille. Archeological excavations in the nineteenth century revealed a habitat dating from Neolithic. Flint, scratching, polished axes, arrowheads, or pottery at the time were discovered. The cave itself consists of several vaulted rooms, where rainwater flows through infiltration and runoff. A miraculous source would also have been localized according to the archives of Saint-Victor. He's ready for miraculous virtues. Its delay would, however, be a sign of misfortune.
