Large food and non-food market stretching the length of Avenue du Prado from Place Castellane.
The Prado Market, also known as the Castellane Market, is one of the main markets in Marseille. It takes place every morning of the week (except Sunday) on the odd side of the avenue from 7am to about 1:30pm. There is a wide range of food, clothing and drugstore products, as well as handicrafts on Fridays, offered, according to municipal sources and depending on the season, on average on about 80 stalls. It should be noted that on Fridays there is also, on the other side of the avenue, the beautiful flower market. To date, this market is the largest and busiest in the city.
