THE GARDENS OF THE MAGALONE
His owner, immaculate Raphaël de Magdelone, gave him his name. In its heart, one of the few bastides, in the form of «H» and dating from the th century, puts the court in relief. This baroque garden, highlighted by spaces with geometric shapes and perspectives, is adorned with two decorative fountains symbolizing the Rhône and Saône. The garden was redesigned in 1901 by landscape architect Edouard André and vases from castle Grignan underline the Ends of the basins. There are alleys of trees willow from statues representing the four seasons. Plane, lawn with a hexagonal basin and cypress rows complete the order of this resting place where you will enjoy walking.
