NOTRE-DAME-DES-MARINS
This small chapel dedicated to the Virgin had a special importance for the sailors
As its name suggests, this small chapel dedicated to the Virgin Mary was of particular importance to sailors. Located on the top of a hill, this ancient place of worship - now closed to the public - served as a landmark for fishermen who came to offer ex-votos when they escaped from storms. A collection as moving as it is interesting can still be admired at the Ziem museum. Finally, if your legs carry you to the little chapel, the horizon will open up to you from the peaks of Sainte-Victoire to those of Mont Ventoux.
