ÉGLISE SAINTE-CROIX
Church with three naves consecrated in 1754 which owes its name to the pieces of the cross of Christ in Maussane-les-Alpilles
It took four years of work to build this church, consecrated in 1754, which came into being thanks to the generosity of the lord of the time. Until then, the inhabitants had to attend services at the church of Saint-Martin du Paradou. The church owes its name to the pieces of the cross of Christ that it is supposed to house. The imposing three-aisled building has a beautiful classical façade. Inside, some elements of the decoration, notably the pulpit and the porch, are listed as historical monuments. It remains today the natural heart of the village.
