Located in Mimet, in the highest village in the Bouches-du-Rhône region, with a view of the entire Etoile mountain range, the hotel-restaurant Le Grand Puech has a lot going for it. Chef Michel Basaldella's eco-citizen cuisine, based on fresh, local produce, blends the flavours of Provence with those of his native Italy: Venetian-style sardines for starters, homemade gnocchi with Genoa pesto sauce, everything is absolutely delicious.
