Daniel Fino has set up his own jam-making workshop in the pretty village of Mimet, where he makes real jams in the traditional way, with a minimum of 60% fruit. These include classic Provençal jams made with pear, fig, raspberry or persimmon, as well as more surprising jams made with wild fruit (sloes, jujubes, sirodon, i.e. wild rose). Les gourmandises du grand puech portent bien leur nom ! Je les ai découvertes par hasard sur le marché de Gardanne le dimanche. Et si Daniel est un confiturier adorable, c'est surtout sur la qualité de ses produits que l'on craque ! on a tous mangé de la confiture, aussi, on a tous des points de comparaison, c'est facile de se rendre compte à quel point ce sont des fruits frais, peu sucré, délicieusement gourmands ! ( sans parler du cara-moka ou de sa crème de marron ! ). Je suis totalement fan !
