In summer, the sardine tradition is in full swing around the Etang de Berre. Many cities offer them but the one of Port-de-Bouc has a little more in terms of authenticity in our eyes. A popular festival if ever there was one, we meet here with friends or family around long tables. All around, stands sell generous plates of seafood. Sardines of course, but also fried food, paella or grilled meats. The portions are generous. We go there for the atmosphere, the low prices, the friendliness. Concerts and entertainment in season, rides for children. You can then stretch your legs around the marina.
