Since 1985, this local festival has been dedicated to getting the village of Rousset moving and known. Its ambition is to explore, in its original version and through films, encounters and exhibitions, the upheavals of the world as they are apprehended and directed by committed and resistant filmmakers, whether unknown or confirmed. Short films are competing on a new theme every year. The screenings and meetings take place at the Emilien Ventre auditorium in Rousset and at Le Mazarin in Aix-en-Provence. This New World moves the public and professionals of committed cinema, consciousness and awareness. Throughout the year, the media library takes over.
