MANADE ALBERT CHAPELLE
The Albert Chapelle manade serves local Camargue cuisine.
A fixture in the world of traditional Camargue racing since 1963, the manade is now run by Florent, the founder's grandson. The estate covers 180 hectares for the 180 bulls. Visitors can observe the daily work of the gardians: sorting the bulls for the Camargue race, ferrade (branding a young calf), demonstrations of raseteurs and gardian games in the arena, bandido to bring the bulls back to the pasture. On-site, the Bouvino restaurant serves local Camargue cuisine.
