CENTRE CULTUREL SAINT-PAUL DE MAUSOLE
St. Paul de Mausole Cultural Center with a listed Romanesque cloister, a field painted by Van Gogh and the Valetudo art gallery.
From May 1889 to May 1890, Vincent Van Gogh was interned in the Saint Paul Asylum, located in the old monastery. It is here that he painted a large part of his paintings, 150 of the most famous. Today, the site is divided into several sectors and includes a cultural centre. The latter houses: the listed Romanesque cloister, the reconstruction of Van Gogh's hospital room, the Van Gogh field, the Valetudo Art Gallery, the history of the sisters of the institute.
