The lake of Peiroou is a peaceful place just a stone's throw from the historical center of Saint-Rémy. To get there, leave Saint-Rémy on the road leading to Les Baux, turn right towards the lake and follow a bad path that leads to a shaded parking lot, equipped with handicapped spaces. This water reservoir is also a historical place, since it is there that the Romans built the first dam intended to supply the city of Glanum with water. The landscape is superb, but as far as swimming is concerned, forget it, your skin will thank you.
