In 2019, this astonishing pedestrian race celebrated its 9th edition. As its name suggests, the challenge organised by the Saint-Sainte station of the Société nautique du sauvetage en mer (SNSM) takes place on the beaches of the commune. The event takes place in the autumn, in November, on the east beach of Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer and on the seawall along the Camargue Nature Reserve. Two courses, of 12 and 21 km, with no real difficulty due to a zero gradient, are proposed. A race open to as many people as possible, in an idyllic environment! The profits from the registrations are also donated to the SNSM.
