CONCOURS « LES TOQUES DÉCALÉES »

The "Les Toque" contest is organised by Maison des adolescents 13 Nord - Antenna-de-Provence, with the assistance of the ADDAP 13, the Citizen Area and Creation and the AAGESC Social Centre, these four structures being all located in Salon de Provence. The objective of this modest, friendly and good child, with few resources but animated by great faith in conviviality and social link, is to promote the balance of food through the realization of recipes proposed by young adults and young adults aged 11 to 25 and their families and rewarding an amateur chef by highlighting his know-how. A second edition took place in July 2013 and the competition met again with such a success that its renewal was decided.

Registration: they will take place at the AAGESC social centre located in the Canourgues district or by postal mail at the address above, before 8 July 2014, the candidate providing the fact sheet of his recipes (main flat and dessert) with proportions for 5 people. For the proper conduct of the test and for organisational reasons, the number of participants will be limited to nine.

The jury: in 2013, he was composed of the President, Mr Bernard Auzely, a former pensioner of the CFA, a technical teacher, the chef de cuisine and the head of the service restaurant "Le Relais du Soleil" for Judicial and youth protection, as well as a representative of the partner L 13, all competent in culinary matters.

The test: it will take place on Wednesday 16 July 2014 at the Espace Francisco Baron, Boulevard Robert-Schuman, in Salon-de-Provence. Each candidate cuisinera his recipes by providing the necessary equipment and food for the production of the dishes. These will be noted on these criteria: taste taste (taste, flavour, seasoning), aesthetic appearance (overview, balance of presentation), creativity and originality, choice of recipe.

Price: First prize: one meal for 2 people at St. Croix Abbey - 2nd ^{prize: a gourmet basket offered by Château la Dorgonne - 3rd prize: a snack kit for an aperitif.}
