Château de l'Empéri is an immense stone vessel that has stood the test of time, from the 9th century to the present day. It is the oldest fortified castle in Provence still standing, and one of the three largest, along with the Palais des Papes and the Château du Roi René. In its centuries-old halls, the château houses two museums: the Army Museum and the Salon and Crau Museum, which retraces local life. At the foot of the château, you'll also find Nostradamus' Garden of the Simple Things. In season, it hosts cultural and festive events: concerts, shows...

Pour les amoureux d'histoire et de la guerre je conseil ce lieux surtout en période de canicule pour retrouver un peu de fraîcheur derrière les pierres du château qui a un peu été abîmé lors du tremblement de terre de 1909.
