HOLY-MARTHE COLLEGIATE
This church can be cut into three interesting parts. The first is the crypt, located 3 metres below the ground, before the Christian era: a préromain wall was updated during excavations in 1979. The th century is a th century sarcophagus with a highly crafted th century sarcophagus. This sarcophagus containing the relics of St. Marthe is the situated school. Second part with the upper church. It is one of the most beautiful, Gothic sanctuaries in Provence. Built on the site of a former Romanesque building dating back to the th century, it preserved its remarkable portal south-rated, unfortunately very mutilated in the Revolution. Note the beautiful paintings of paintings by Parrocel, Vien, Van Loo, Mignard, like the gold copper copy of the massive gold reliquary hosted by Louis XI. Finally, third part with organs. Dated from the end of the 1712 th century, this instrument was equipped in with a splendid polychrome buffet unchanged since then and placed at the bottom of the central nave on a specially designed grandstand. Classified by Historical Monuments since 1840.
