ASSOCIATION AAAOV
Notice to enthusiasts and amateurs! The Aix-en-Provence Amateur Astronomers Association of the Vauvenargues Observatory organizes from time to time public evenings accessible to all at the observatory, a site unknown to the general public and still quite well protected from local stray lights. These evenings generally start around 8:30 pm and provide a very satisfying first approach to the sky, remarkable constellations and main planets depending on their visibility at the time. These observations are made partly from the dome equipped with a 355 mm diameter telescope, which is able to provide high-quality images of planetary surfaces and objects typical of the deep sky.
