CHÂTEAU DE MILLE
Château de Mille occupies the site of an ancient Roman villa and in the 13th century was home to the bishops of Apt and the popes of Avignon. The estate was taken over and developed by Constance and Lawrence Slaughter at the end of 2018. The 25 hectares of organically farmed vines stretch across the northern foothills of the Luberon between 200 and 400 meters above sea level. The 3-color wines are AOP Luberon. The château is open to visitors, and 2 charming gîtes have been set up on the estate. Château de Mille is well worth a visit, both for the magnificent site and for the estate's wines.
