A Sunday get-together for families, the Cedar Forest in Cabrières-d'Avignon
This forest is a Sunday rendezvous for families. The walks are very easy and you stay cool. These large cedars were planted on the Beauregard site in the 19th century. Today, they cover an area of 5 hectares. Departures are from the top of the village. Allow 2 to 3 hours for the walk. You'll come across sports enthusiasts on the fitness trail. There are also mountain bike trails. Don't forget that between June and September, the forest may be off-limits due to the risk of fire, especially on mistral-force days.
