This bastide takes its name from the nearby stream that runs through Cadenet before emptying into the Durance. Léo has joined his parents Carine and Roland Coupat on the certified organic estate. They farm 4,000 olive trees on 15 hectares formerly planted with vines. 95% of the trees are of the aglandau variety. Salonenque and picholine complete the orchard. Concerned in every way with the quality of the oil they produce, they crush their own olives. The result is a fruité vert or "intense taste" AOC Provence and a fruité noir tradition with black olive aromas.

For my part, my palace was sharp with the discovery of Bastide du Laval oil. Fruity green their oil became the essential to my table daily. And I admit, I use it even for cooking... For dessert, on a lemon sorbet, some strawberries with pepper du moulin or simply aperitif on bread with flor de sal. Weak without which does not do any more... Moreover, when you can enjoy a few days in their cottage and walk on the property to discover their local, what better? And when the production is multi medal winner in all colours, including most prestigious and Bio is certification, I say live olive oil French and life Bastide du Laval!
We strongly recommend this fruity green Bastide du Laval with Cadenet 84
