Louérion - the name given to the Luberon by the Romans - groups together some 130 cooperative winegrowers, cultivating a 950-hectare vineyard in the communes of Ansouis, Cabrières-d'Aigues, Cadenet, Cucuron, La Motte-d'Aigues, La Tour-d'Aigues, Lauris, Lourmarin, Mérindol, Pertuis, Puget, Puyvert, Sannes, Vaugines and Villelaure. Regularly awarded prizes, their wines are characterized by fruity scents for the whites, aromas of red or exotic fruit for the rosés, and notes of spice or ripe fruit for the reds. Luberon PDO, Vaucluse and Mediterranean PGI and Vin de France.
