DOMAINE NOTRE-DAME-DES-PALLIÈRES
In the charming village of Gigondas, Domaine Notre Dame des Pallières is a family-run winery. Founded in the Middle Ages, the estate takes its name from a miraculous spring reputed to protect against the plague. Today, Claude Roux passes on his passion for wine and the land to his children, Isabelle and Julien. The 30-hectare vineyard produces quality wines that respect nature. Typical Rhône Valley grape varieties such as Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah are used to produce the Gigondas, Rasteau, Sablet, Lirac and Côtes du Rhône appellations. Visitors are invited to discover this authentic family history by visiting the domaine's cellar. The semi-underground cellar enables gentle vinification and ageing in optimal conditions.
