DOMAINE LEOS
Located on the Plateau de Margoye, at the gateway to the Luberon, the Leos estate covers 45 hectares planted with olive trees, vines, truffle oaks, almond trees, pine trees and lavender. The domain is owned by Patrick Bruel since 2007. Passionate, the artist knew how to give life to these lands, so that they become a landmark and roots for his two children: as such, the domain was named after his sons, Leon and Oscar. The olive grove, mostly planted with aglandau, extends over 7.2 hectares. From about fifty olive trees on his arrival, the artist has structured the land year after year, preserving its typicality in order to preserve the biotope and regenerate the old stocks. Today, nearly 3,000 trees are growing on the Leos Estate, some of which are a hundred years old. Surrounded by a team of passionate, expert olive growers, the oil developed on the estate is an exceptional oil, with a vegetal taste and unique character, awarded at numerous competitions (more than 20 medals including 9 gold since 2017). In fruity green or fruity ripe, H de Leos oils are finishing and seasoning oils. The heat of the dishes expresses all the finesse and their authenticity. On salads, H de Leos oil develops all its aromatic power. Working in organic farming, and classified HVE 3, each plot is personalized, according to the principles of organic farming. The oils are crushed at the Moulin de Château Virant, and the sale is done by internet. There is also a range of cosmetics, L'Olivier de Leos.
