LES CAVES DU CHÂTEAU
Restored in the th century, the origins of Lourmarin Castle - which is part of the region's three major residences - are lost in the history of the th century. Florian Girbal, a child of the country of wine, invested the castle cellars in 2006, after extensive renovation work and a degree from the University of Suze-la-Rousse in the pocket. It offers over references. Local appellation obliges, the wines of Luberon are majority: La Citadelle, Val Joanis, La Verrerie, Bastide du Clos, Ruffinato, Domaine de la Garelle, Château de Clapier… There are also good wines from the Rhone valley and the slopes of Aix. In summer, enjoy the natural and welcome freshness of the place, and ask to borrow the stone staircase, narrow and winding, which leads to a vast area dedicated to wine-related animations, exhibitions or seminars.
