LE JARDIN DE LA BASSE FONTAINE
Magnificent garden in a haven of peace, located in the town of Boyer, home to various collections of plants and flowers.
The Jardin de la Basse Fontaine is a magnificent 6,000m2 garden just 5 minutes from the village. Designed by local landscape architect Jean-Paul Boyer in the 1990s, the garden offers visitors a botanical, historical and olfactory stroll along paths planted with roses, jasmine, perennials, verbena and sage. In all, 2,000 species of Mediterranean plants. Ponds and fountains punctuate the path, and twenty or so benches here and there allow walkers to relax. Tree houses, turtle park, farmyard and aviary with exotic birds and play areas for children. Sale of succulents and bird nesting boxes.
