LES REMPARTS
The Remparts de Venasque are getting a facelift.
Les Remparts restaurant is back for new adventures. Pascal Engasser, chef at Les Remparts until the 2000s, is returning to the premises with his entire family. His daughter Théa, a pastry chef, his wife Catherine and his son-in-law Geoffrey, all attached to Provence, are keen to share the quality produce of the Comtadine plain. From lamb stuffed with herbs to petit épeautre-asparagus-champignons-parmesan risotto. For a farandole of flavors, there's the tasting plate, full of promise. Note that the team remains on deck all day long, and can serve you the full plate all afternoon, a small compendium of starter-main course-dessert. For the view, from the veranda or terrace, the sunset is always marvellous.
