Verrassende smaken, fijne presentatie
Vriendelijk onthaal.
Prachtige lokatie
Fresh and carefully prepared inventive art on the plate - surprise sequence of hors d’œuvres and the plat - perfectly cooked turbot alongside fresh peeled grapefruit segment, fig lightly softened in butter ( and pea shoots - Pezet is an old Provençal word for them) held together with a delicate sweet-potato sauce…and to end, a délice of a pavlova - raspberries and more in a dream bed of soft italian meringue. All that and the setting so inspiring I had to get my sketchbook out to record the special moment.
This was the most disappointing experience we have had at a restaurant. Everyone talks about the views, but don’t go in September because they will make you sit inside where it is very hot. The waitress was nice but didn’t let us sit outside. The food was all very bland.
If you go, make sure to check the menu before you go.
Amazing view and a very nice & enthusiastic chef! Food is very good.
My only recommandation is to check it out.
The staff were all charming.
A very special meal. We had the set menu at €49 for three courses. However this doesn't tell the whole story... The "snacks" were amazing and so many: tapenade, home made focaccia, velvety mushroom soup, raspberry and nuts, radish and tuna with roe on potato. Then the amuse buche: a silky melon soup with tomato, basil. Then the starters. We both chose the courgette flowers, fresh and tasty. The mains were truly delicious: my sea bream, with a cream sauce, potato and tomato looked deceptively simple but was perfectly cooked and the flavours complemented each other perfectly. The egg risotto with truffle was apparently just as delicious. There was a trio of cheese. Then desserts, of which there was lots of choice. Both the apricot and the chocolate did not disappoint. 2 glasses of champagne, a decent bottle of rosé, 2 cafés and 2 amaretto came to €180. A treat but excellent value. Highly recommended.
disappointing when you have guests.
therefore misleading advertizing more on the menu presented 2 main courses were not available longer damage I would hesitate has to get there.
