Domaine La Fourmente has belonged to the Pouizin family since 1922. Over the decades, Paul and his children have developed the vineyard. In 2000, they built a wine storehouse for vinification and maturing of the wines which gave a new impetus to the estate. Covering an area of 50 hectares, the vineyard is established on several types of terroirs: sandstone from the Miocene, clayey and gravelly black earth, very stony black earth and gravel in depth, garrigues soils (red earth and rolled pebbles, clay and pebbles in depth).
