History: It's not just chestnut in Ardèche, there are sheep too! Who says sheep… wool. The work of wool is a millennial tradition as revealed by the living museum of wool and sheep in which you will discover underneath the wool, the sheep at the sweater… Ardelaine has local, ecological and solidarity development. In the 1970-80 s, Ardelaine's team had the audacity to rehabilitate the Saint Pierreville spinning, learn the profession and set up a strong group. The SCOP Ardelaine was born in 1982.
Products: In the Ardelaine shop, it is impossible not to crack for colored clothes, comforters, comfortable mattresses or knitting yarns… Everything is 100% wool, ecological and fair.
Specifications: The site also houses a restaurant, La Cherise on the lamb, with a kitchen made of seasonal, mostly organic products. As well as a café-bookstore, so much tarnish and grocery store. A really complete address!
Futed: Throughout the year, animations, parties, guided tours, internships and workshops are offered. Not to miss, the wool festival early August and its theatrical visits, its wool wool and many other surprises. Plan the day with a lunch break at the organic restaurant on site or, better, enjoy a night or two in Ardèche in the nearby hosts: to the Gîte to the Yarn or to the Domaine de Salomony. Practical and enjoyable!
