Very nice setting 'especially if you searches silence and strictly to do nothing. The owner is almost invisible (5 minutes on arrival and 5 minutes at the beginning). Dine average (no refinement...) and breakfast identical to that of a canteen... In short, if you can go elsewhere, do not hesitate to ask...

We know " garelles" for years, we knew the parents of the owner, so it is not yesterday! if we continue to come, is that everything is perfect here. The only drawback: there not to have been able to go for three years, but we will catch up with ourselves. Then, the eternal dissatisfied ones, on the croisette to Nice, you can go for your money, but not the friendliness with evening return!!!!

Everything is very pleasant: the reception of the owners, delicious meals and local (goat cheese, homemade jams with apricots and lavender ect, the heated room well upon arrival because he made a rainy weather, clean and nicely decorated, spacious...
The view is magnificent, the little cemetery oú rests illustrated Barjavel is facing the valley...

Nothing rained us at this guesthouse. There was a description in the elegant box which was not at all representative. The swimming pool was not secure and dirty, with very little water.
The goats, one of them in the wall above. Seen the guest who showed us our room and then the following day with breakfast, very quickly. No human warmth, no division. Dinner and breakfast are poor, soulless as the rest.

Avis mitigated for the Garelles: smartbox (box)

More: Stay exotic in the middle of nowhere, calm, farm animals present, popular pool. The room (cherry) and its bathroom are large and clean. The gourmet basket consists of four very good goat's cheese.

Less: The absence of the owners (we did not see Monsieur and have " croisé" Madame. Indeed, the concept table d'hôte would like that they are our table and yet they were absent in the evening dinner. In the morning, no better, the owner pretexts that it has full of things to do... and clearly side offers to its guests to be occupied with its other occupations.) For us, no hunting stories or division.
We ask whether it is possible to visit the goats closer and why not help milking and NON a dry is answered us...
As for the meal, if it were certainly good, was not very elaborate (for the price!), cheese OR dessert.
Breakfast is clearly largest disappointment: there was almost nothing to eat: sliced brioche and some bread slices! Neither fruits, fresh produce, pastries, or apricot juice as it was promised box smartbox.

We do other stays smartbox in rooms and it is a disappointment. The stay is not worth the price of the smartbox (100€).

The rooms have undoubtedly " in the butter épinards" for these farmers and yet they are too occupied and not dedicated enough for beings good guests.
(and do not trust with what is marked box including visits to make a few km from because given the roads, it takes more than one hour to get to destination...)

Although the setting is very well, in the heart of the hills and fields of apricot trees, however the welcome is not very warm, absent during the meal (which was not very required - sautéed pork, French bean) and the shade of a apricot juice for breakfast or least growing, has share the white bread and defrosted bread.

we arrive D one evening and 1 night spent garelles we were 10 and let us be we enchantés.de 20:00 has 23:00 the " patron" we levelled with its " histoires" hunting and the region! the culture of the épautre among other things. .on would have still stayed, but the next day, it did not sleep in! .pas need for television or telephone (although available if need be) by choosing this region, we has already that we were in mountain and isolated but do was the aim to find. .le calm. .et that N does not have a price! cheeses " maison" excellents" we will surely go back!

I made a much making this clarification concerning this inn. In order to counter some holidaymakers insincerely. Dixit... https://www.petitfute.com/ ...... For 2 epi, I can ensure that it was the summit. Simple but good food, and, goat's cheese, a delight, as it is a firm chevrière! Rooms, very well equipped,...perfect bedding... private bathroom and TOILET. All very clean. If you need to go up the moral, I recommend it because my wife we come for dinner of New Year's Day and 4 days full and we leave magic. The innkeepers are super nice. The owner will spoil you hunting stories to wild boar. And then, passages in this "lost" place!!!! Do not listen to the bad comments that humiliated this place as well as the characters, everything is only is "from abroad"... to the country, jealous, which prefer their corrupted cities.

For 2 epis, I can vs it certify, it is faultless. No blame, simple but required and excellent food, goat's cheese, a delight, rooms, very well. If vs need vs batteries, I vs recommend it because my husband, NS let us come to spend 4 days full and we leave loaded with block. The owners are super nice. NS were pleasantly surprised to see as much visited in this isolated place. people who try to make a small hamlet of mountain. Haute Provence is a region disaster victim of agriculture. Live has paris you will have no fly!!! when cleanliness has I can you confimer that it is someone there is some daily. Broken mattresses??? is what you take what you say!!!! We have a dream. Setting was magnificent and delicious meals. One the us very warm welcome. Each its way see but it is sure that if you are accustomed to the luxury you will not like but it is the same not taken. I slept in worse good for many expensive. Personally, I find the pleasant to rest and walk me. The atmosphere is very pleasant and I felt irritated or not frustrated about anything on the contrary. I strongly recommend this inn for a weekend to unwind!
