For more than a quarter of a century, Chabeuil has been celebrating the "caillette", a local delicatessen made for centuries from pork and various herbs (cabbage, parsley, etc.) and shaped into the shape of a small round pâté. The "caillette", which has its own brotherhood (the Taste-Caillette, which meets in a big chapter for the new enthronements, the day before the fair), can be eaten hot with a potato gratin, or cold with a salad. During the fair held in the pedestrian street of the old centre of Chabeuil, amateurs are invited to compete in a culinary competition around... the "caillette". Among the animations: surprise wheel, cocagne mast, sausage, pig weighing, pig fishing, shooting stand, photo exhibition... Various stands offer their regional products. From 9 am, the blood sausage, and from noon, the bacon soup are to be taken away or eaten on the spot.
