Japanese restaurant located in the rural Diois offering a very nice family service.

The small room of Estaminette Yamaneko opens onto an alley in downtown Die. This cosy, kawaii address is often fully booked. So if you really want to enjoy the bentos and other preparations of Maki, the Japanese-born owner, you'd better make a reservation. You can also order and take away her delicious dishes. Choose from vegetarian, grilled fish, sushi, oyakodon... A taste of umami in Diois! The dishes are meticulously crafted from the finest ingredients. As for Yamaneko, the restaurant's logo, it's a cat!

Cuisine originale. Délicieux makis. L'origine des produits est inscrite au tableau noir de même que les conseils pour une bonne utilisation des baguettes. L'hôtesse est charmante ainsi que ses collaboratrices. Une étape que je recommande.

En voyant un restaurant afficher "cuisine japonaise familiale" en plein milieu de cette petite ville rurale nous nous sommes dit qu'on ne pouvait pas rater cela. Bien nous en a pris, c'était aussi bon que lors de notre voyage au Japon. Mention spéciale pour les gyoza maison et le ramen.
