Discovery of the Corneilles flight which is located at La Baume-Cornillance.
There are three crows on the coat of arms of the village of La Baume-Cornillane and three thematic paths to follow in the flight of these black and laughing birds. These three crows were the arms of the local lords in feudal times. These are easy routes to follow, ideal for families. You start from the small public garden near the church, which houses an adorable book hut and indications of the trails of the Crow's Flight. Beautiful illustrations accompany you as you discover the fauna (roe deer, wild boar, squirrel, fox, dragonfly, bee), but also the flora where the animals feed, nest, find refuge, or by discovering the ruins of the ramparts and the keep, the medieval history of the village and even earlier. You can choose between three paths to discover the fauna, the flora and the history of the Baume-Cornillane:
Let's go up the steps of time with Cornelia (3 km/2h);
Let's fly over the floors of nature with Lina (2,2 km/1h30) ;
Let's orient ourselves in space with Mia (4 to 5 km/2h).
There are also other marked trails (see at the town hall) starting from the village that climb the foothills of the Vercors and cross the Pangea rock which symbolizes the center of Pangea and sends you back some 240 million years, when all the continents were one. The path goes along the magnificent rocky laces and offers a panoramic view on the Drôme valley.
