LA FERME INTEGRALE
La Ferme Intégrale is an aquaponic farm located in La Baume-d'Hostun. It adopts aquaponics as a production method in line with climate and food issues. The farm offers a local range of fish, vegetables and aromatic plants, sustainably grown in aquaponic greenhouses. Fish and plants are co-cultivated in a complementary ecosystem, where the waste from one becomes the resource for the other. Visitors can buy pike-perch, raised on site, as whole fish, fresh fillets or smoked fish. The farm also offers a selection of seasonal vegetables and herbs, including lettuces, sorrel, chard, pak choï, basil, mint and coriander. La Ferme Intégrale focuses on sustainability, using neither antibiotics nor synthetic pesticides. The farm's products are available at the farm itself or from their online boutique.
