A major canoeing event. Over 500 participants from 12 countries. On the program: technical and safety workshops led by renowned river guides, exhibitors and canoe and outdoor equipment tests, several festive meals, a concert, a draw for prestigious prizes, tastings of local produce and, of course, some sublime descents on the turquoise waters of the Drôme, navigable on over 30 km of easy courses between Die and Crest. Every year, the Open Canoe Festival (OCF for regulars) offers a multitude of workshops: outdoor cooking, the art of bivouacking and trackless camping, outdoor first aid, canoe photography, fishing, beaver watching on the Drôme, learning to tie knots, lighting a fire, camping tips, etc. 100% outdoor!
