On the ramparts of Mirmande, La Capitelle, a charming historic residence, welcomes you to its 3-star hotel and excellent restaurant. Cubist painter André Lhote (1926-1962) lived here. You can dine in a cosy vaulted room with terracotta floor tiles and fireplace, or on a small terrace protected from the street by a low wall, in the shade of a paulownia tree. On the plate, the compositions of chef Sylvain Croce, a warm-hearted man with a passion for good produce. For example, ravioli with porcini mushrooms, a black garlic broth, followed by duck Cromesquis, rice pudding and fir honey...
