DOMAINE LA PELLEGRINE
Located in the commune of Montbrison-sur-Lez in Drôme Provençale, Domaine La Pellegrine is a family-run winery. Nestled at the foot of the Lance, around 35 km from Montélimar, Orange and Vaison-la-Romaine, it enjoys an ideal location. The estate covers 22 hectares of land, including 11 hectares of vines, cultivated on a stony clay-limestone terroir. In addition to vines, the estate also cultivates cereals, lavender and truffle trees on the remaining 11 hectares. At the moment, spring is slowly settling over the La Pellegrine vineyards. The first leaves are appearing on the vines, and the risk of frost is behind us. However, the estate is facing a marked water deficit, which could lead to a repeat of last year's scenario. Despite this, the estate remains optimistic and recently bottled its first red of the 2021 vintage, Montbrison, a fruity red wine with an elegant, balanced color.
