YVON GUERET MUNICIPAL MUSEUM
Museum preserving collections of paleontology, mineralogy and archaeology, linked to the history of Pierrelatte.
This charming little museum is located at the foot of the rock in an old 18th century prison, itself built on the ruins of the medieval castle of Pierrelatte destroyed during the Wars of Religion. You can see the model of this castle and its enclosure, as well as collections of paleontology, mineralogy and archaeology, related to local history, from the donation of Yvon Guéret. It is also here that the famous Provençal crib is installed, animated from mid-December to mid-January.
